    • 2017 EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AWARDS

      The nomination process for Executive Council Athlete Award, John Carion “Unsung Hero” Award and, Hall of Fame Award opens Monday, April 10, 2017 to all LETR Programs.

      This process closes and all nominations & support materials are due by Friday, June 9, 2017 (at 5:00pm EDT)

    • IN REMEMBRANCE TRIBUTE

      Each year at the LETR International Conference in a video tribute called “In Remembrance” we extend the invitation for programs to honor and pay tribute to the efforts, dedication and sacrifice of their fallen heroes who made a positive difference in the lives of our athletes and their families.

      The LETR International Executive Council and the International Conference Planning Committee are honored to acknowledge their service to the LETR, Special Olympics Athletes and their community during this moving ceremony.

      All In Remembrance Tribute submissions are due no later than Friday, July 28, 2017 (at 5:00pm PDT)

    • 2017 YEAR IN REVIEW PRESENTATION

      Each year for the LETR International Conference our production team creates a fun and entertaining video presentation featuring Program submitted photographs called the “Year in Review.”

      We are again extending the opportunity and invitation to all LETR programs to submit their Torch Run® photos
      for this project before Friday, July 28, 2017 (at 5:00pm PDT)

    • IACP PHOTO CONTEST

      For the past 15 years the IACP has hosted the LETR photography contest and each year the power of photography and the emotions they convey speak volumes.

      The photos submitted are a reminder of the immeasurable benefits the Torch Run offers to the athletes, officers, and the community they serve.

      The IACP is again extending the opportunity and invitation to all LETR programs to submit their Torch Run® photos for this contest.

      The I.A.C.P. Photo Contest website will open on Friday, May 19, 2017 and close on Friday, June 30, 2017 (at 5.00pm EDT)

    • GUARDIAN OF THE FLAME ESCORTS


      Again this year there is an opportunity for your conference attendees to participate in the Guardians of the Flame® Miner’s Lamp Escort featured in each of the six general sessions at this year’s LETR International Conference in Phoenix, Arizona USA.

      There are only 40 positions to fill.

      Programs should begin consideration of their Program representative now and respond not later than Friday, July 28, 2017
